Reinstatement of Mandatory ORCID ID Requirement for Registration and Manuscript Submission

Dear Researchers, Authors, and Users,

We are pleased to inform you that, following the restoration of stable access to the international ORCID system, the requirement to provide an ORCID ID during the initial registration and manuscript submission process has been reinstated.

Accordingly, all authors are required to obtain an ORCID ID prior to registering in the journal's submission system and submitting their manuscripts. Authors must enter their valid ORCID ID in the designated section of the registration form. The accuracy of the submitted information remains the responsibility of the authors.

An ORCID ID plays a vital role in the accurate identification of researchers, the integration of scholarly records, the facilitation of indexing processes, and the enhancement of the visibility and traceability of research outputs in international databases.

Authors who have not yet registered with ORCID are kindly requested to create an ORCID account and obtain their unique researcher identifier before initiating the manuscript submission process to avoid any delays in the editorial review and publication workflow.

Any future changes to this policy will be announced through the official notices of the journal of Strategic Management of Organizational Knowledge (SMOK).
