The Relationship between Organizational Culture and Knowledge Management Measures in the Country's Judicial System (Case Study: Justice of Mashhad City)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the cultural characteristics of the organization and knowledge management measures in the justice of Mashhad city. This research is descriptive-analytical. The statistical population consisted of 160 judges at justice of Mashhad city. The sample size was 113 according to Morgan's table and the sample was selected by stratified random sampling method. To collect the data, a standardized organizational culture questionnaire of Denison model (2000) and an extracted knowledge management questionnaire from Hosseini's thesis (2006) were used. In order to analyze the data, structural equation model including external model and internal model was used. For this purpose, SPSS18 statistical software and SMART PLS structural equation modeling software was used. The results showed that the dimensions of organizational culture have a positive and significant relationship with the effective implementation of knowledge management measures including knowledge creation, knowledge development, knowledge sharing, knowledge application, knowledge evaluation and storing knowledge.
