Abstract

Today, environmental changes have led to the emergence of information technology-based knowledge management capabilities. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of technological innovation and resource commitment on knowledge management capabilities in order to increase competitive advantage. This paper is an applied-descriptive research. The statistical population is Yazd province's knowledge-based companies. Collecting research data through a researcher-made questionnaire used, which includes 26 questions. Of the 300 questionnaires distributed among the samples, 185 questionnaires were fully answered and used in the final analysis. The validity of the research questionnaire was investigated by content validity and mean of extracted variance (AVE) and its reliability by alpha-Cronbach's method and compositional reliability. SPSS and PLS software have been used to analyze the research data. The research findings showed that the variables of resource commitment and technological innovation index, in addition to adaptability, have a significant effect on knowledge management ability and increase the competitive advantage.
